Sibel Tüzün was born on 29 september 1971 in Istanbul.
She began her music education by joining TRT Istanbul Children's Choir. In secondary school, she met Gokcen Koray,Cenan Akin and Hikmet Simsek, who are important musicians in Turkey,by joining Youth Choir of TRT. She was interested in pop and rock music in the years she was a student in Besiktas Ataturk High School.
She came 3rd in a Song Contest among high-schoolers. She met with Melih Kibar and started to record her sound for advertisements.
Sibel Tüzün sang with Ajda Pekkan, who represented Turkey in 1980, and Nukhet Duru. In 1990 she also participated in the Turkish selection with Kime ne, where she came ninth.
In 1988 she joined Turkish National Eurovision Song Contest Finalist Selection and finished 9th.
In 1992 she released her first album,"Ah Biz Kizlar".This album made Sibel famous throughout Turkey.She had a lot of concerts with this album.
In 1994 she got lessons from Robert Bricknell in London. Then she returned to Turkey and released her second album, Nefes nefes Asklar.
In 1998 she released her 3rd album,Hayat Buysa Ben Yokum,lyrics of which were written by her.She produced and published her album by herself.
In 2001 she released her 4th album,Yine Yalnizim,with Bay Music Co.In 2002 she began to work with Arinna music and for the first time she composed her lyrics herself.
In 2003 she released her 5th album, Red, and this album brougt her to the summit of her career.
In 2004 she released her last album which consisted of a cd and a vcd implying Greeek versions,remixes and video clips. Sibel Tüzün knows Turkish, English and Greek.
