 Sibel Tüzün'ün Türkiye'ye davet ettiği ancak TRT'nin ekrana çıkarmayı reddettiği Güney Kıbrıs Rum Kesimi'nin Eurovision finalisti Annette Artani, yarın gece Okan Bayülgen'in sunuculuğunu üstlendiği Televizyon Makinası programına konuk olacak. Eurovision Şarkı Yarışması Türkiye Finalisti Sibel Tüzün'ün Güney Kıbrıs Rum Kesimi'ne giderek resmi devlet televizyonu CYBC kanalına çıkması ve Rum Kesimi'nin Eurovision finalisti Artani'nin TRT'de çıkmasını talep etmesi büyük bir krize yol açmıştı.
Sibel Tüzün'ün Güney Kıbrıs ziyareti ve bu ülkenin temsilcisi Annette Artani'yi Türkiye'ye davetinin TRT'den bağımsız yapıldığını belirten TRT, Artani'nin TRT'nin herhangi bir programına çıkmasının söz konusu olmadığı açıklamıştı. TRT yaptığı basın açıklamasında; "Sibel Tüzün ’ün Güney Kıbrıs seyahati de 2006 Eurovision Şarkı Yarışması tanıtım çalışmaları çerçevesinde yapılmıştır. Yarışmaya katılan 38 ülke sanatçısından hiçbiri TRT tarafından davet edilmemiştir.
 Sanatçımız Sibel Tüzün, Güney Kıbrıs seyahatinde sanatçılarını ülkemize davet etmiş ve bir çerçevede kendisine bir tanıtım programı hazırlamıştır. Bu davet, diğer ülkelerde olduğu gibi kurumdan bağımsız olarak Sibel Tüzün ve şirketi tarafından yapılmıştır. Dolayısıyla, Annette Artani ’yi herhangi bir programımıza çıkarma mükellefiyetimiz söz konusu değildir." sözlerine yer vermişti.
TRT içinde büyük kriz yaratan Annette Artani, yarın gece Kanal D'de ekrana gelecek olan Televizyon Makinası programına konuk olacak. Programa Eurovision'da Türkiye'yi temsil edecek olan Sibel Tüzün de katılacak.
