I have been given the honor to represent my country in the 51’st Eurovision Song Contest, to be held in Athens, performing my own composition and lyrics. The stipulation of TRT (Turkish Radio & Television) is for three songs to be produced, to be performed in Turkish, one of which is to be selected by TRT to be the Turkish entry. The promotion CD will also contain the English and the Greek versions of the selected work.
My aim is to turn the three minutes in Athens into a breathtaking show, with a magnificent song and a spectacular performance. I really have the roll my sleeves up. The semifinal is on the 18th of May with the final following on the 20th. There is an awful lot of work to do and all that in a very short time-frame.
I am really looking forward to this challenge, not only with the obvious support of TRT, my production company Arinna Music and my musical arranger Taskin Sabah, but also with the support of all those who will come on board along the way towards Athens.
I am also counting on the support of Sibelle Fan Club,(I have to acknowledge their generous support over the last three years) and the Turkish chapter of the largest Eurovision Fan Club OGAE.
I also am sure that I will enjoy the essential support of the Turkish Press Core on our journey to Athens. Many thanks!
